“I am not precious about my work, this attitude a legacy of the influence of "punk" on my teenage years and cultural outlook during the 70s. I tend to work quickly, often being guided by "accidents" that happen during the creative process. I will occasionally completely re-work paintings with a view to creating something new and consequently many of the paintings featured may have been "re-cycled" or destroyed. All work begins with an emotional attachment to the subject matter”.
